Which Heartsaver Path Do I Need?

Select the option that matches your specific workplace or regulatory requirements:

  • Heartsaver Total (OSHA Compliant): Comprehensive training designed to meet all OSHA and regulatory requirements. Includes all First Aid topics and CPR/AED for Adult, Child, and Infant.

  • Heartsaver Basic (NOT OSHA Compliant): Streamlined training covering only the most common First Aid emergencies and Adult CPR/AED. This version does not meet most OSHA workplace standards.

  • CPR & AED Only: Focuses strictly on high-quality compressions, breaths, and AED use (no First Aid).

  • First Aid Only: Focuses strictly on medical, injury, and environmental emergencies (no CPR).

How It Works:

  1. Online Phase: Receive your course URL via email after registration. This self-paced course uses interactive lessons to teach your selected path.

  2. In-Person Phase: Attend your skills check at the date/time selected during registration.

    • Location: 515 S Kansas Avenue Suite D, Topeka, KS 66603.

  3. All-In-One Pricing: Your skills check fee is included in this registration.

Quick Requirements:

  • Audience: For anyone with limited or no medical training. (Medical/Nursing students should take BLS).

  • Bring Your Certificate: You must present your online completion certificate (printed or digital) to receive your card.

  • 60-Day Limit: You must complete the course and skills check within 60 days of registration.

  • Physical Readiness: You must demonstrate high-quality compressions. If you are recovering from surgery, we recommend postponing.

Important Policies:

  • No Refunds: Once the course URL has been issued, it is non-refundable.

  • Certification: Cards are only issued upon successful completion of all physical skills. Remediation is available if needed.
