This course requires a skills session completion. If you are uncertain whether you will be able to meet the skills requirements, please reach out to discuss your situation and possible obstacles. Failure to complete the skills requirements means failing the course and a certification card will not be issued. Remediation is possible if the reason(s) for failing the skills can be resolved.

If you have had surgery and are still in the recovery period, we recommend postponing your skills check until you are at your full capacity.  While some ADA accommodations can be made, each student must demonstrate the ability to complete compressions, etc., as required.  Remember that you can always renew early if you know you may not be physically able to display competency at your normal renewal time.

The price of the class includes your AHA required textbook. If you have the book as pictured above (2020 version) bring it with you at the time of your class and choose "I have my own book" and receive a discounted course rate. If you do not have the current AHA book, you will be required to purchase at the time of class in order to receive your completion card.
