Verbal Skills Testing for Physical Accommodations

This session is specifically for healthcare providers who are physically unable to perform compressions and must instead verbally direct a rescuer through the CPR process.

⚠️ Mandatory Checklist

  • Employer Approval: Confirm with your employer that they accept the "Advisor: BLS" certification card before booking.

  • Pre-Requisite: You must bring a valid 2025 AHA HeartCode BLS Online Completion Certificate. We cannot perform the check without it.

  • 2025 Update: As of March 1st, 2026, certificates from 2020 AHA courses are no longer accepted.

How It Works:

  1. Preparation: Review your online material and come prepared to explain every step of Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED use, and Bag-Valve Mask (BVM) techniques.

  2. The Test: You will not perform physical compressions. You will be tested on your ability to clearly and accurately guide a rescuer through the physical steps.

  3. Session Details: This registration covers the skills check portion only.

Important Policies:

  • Certification: Your card is issued only upon successful verbal demonstration of all required skills. Remediation is available if needed.

  • No Refunds: Once registered, the skills check fee is non-refundable.

  • 60-Day Limit: Your skills check must be completed within 60 days of registration.
