Book Option - AHA requires that you have the book as pictured in the class description.  If you the have the one pictured then just bring it with you to class.  If you do not have it then add it to your cart. 

Online Courses - If you purchase any of the classes that begin with "online" in the title you do not need to purchase anything afterwards.  Your online access key is included on your receipt and directions for the online course are in your confirmation email.  Just call to schedule your skills check when you have completed the online portion.

Online courses in which keycodes have been issued by Kansas CPR, Inc. are not refundable. Online course registrations will only be held in our system for 60 days from date of registration.  After 60 days, the course shall be considered null and void. Re-registration and payment of the full price will be required.

This course covers CPR for all ages along with the use and operation of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) which is now required with all courses

This is the American Heart Association ACLS course. This course will cover all the required information in order to obtain an ACLS course completion card.

Topics covered include:

  • BLS and ACLS patient surveys
  • Respiratory arrest

  • Acute coronary syndromes

  • Cardiac Arrest


Audience:
Physicians, PA's, Nurse practitioners, Nurses, EMS personnel, and Respiratory Therapists 

Length: 10 hrs

For entry into this class it is highly recommended that student be proficient with CPR, AED's, EKG interpretation, and pharmacology.

Complete the online pre course.  This is an additional study element.  It is highly recommened that you repeat the online prep course until you obatin at least 80% passing in all areas.  You may begin using this prep course until your book arrives.

This is the online version of the ACLS class.  You are purchasing the online portion and your skills check fee.  There is nothing else to purchase.  You will receive two emails.  One is your receipt that has the required key code.  The other is the confirmation email that has the directions of how to activate and use the key code.  When you have completed the online part 1 portion be sure to print your completion certificate and then call us to set up your skills appointment.

You must complete parts 2 and 3 within 60 days of the completion of part 1.  The 60 days is based on the date on your certificate from the AHA online website.  Students with certificate dates over 60 days will have to repeat part 1.

Students will learn single-rescuer and team basic life support for adults, children and infants through 5 interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test. Navigation controls allow students to move easily through content as they learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an AED. Course also teaches relief of choking.

This self-paced course is accessible anytime from any computer. Students can access the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, BLS Pocket Reference Card and more for 24 months.

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course completion.
